The collection contains 236 letters and documents sorted into eight envelopes by respondents. Among the documents are letters from Princess Anna Pavlovna (1795–1865) to Dr. Harry; a letter from William, Prince of Orange, to Dr. Harry; a letter dated 1808 and signed by Alexander I of Russia stating that Dr. Harry was made a cavalier of the Order of St. Prince Vladimir, 4th degree; invitations from Their Majesties the King and Queen of Netherlands to Dr. Harry and his wife to balls; letters from Sir Alexander Crichton addressed to Dr. John Harry, and to Mrs. Harry; letters from John Ruhl to Monsieur Harry; 20 letters addressed to Dr. John Harry from Charles Shultz, Dr. James Wylie, A. Chrapovitsky, and Charles Fanshawe; letters from Dr. John Harry to his nephew; 17 letters from Charles Shultz, mostly at The Hague, to Dr. Harry and to Mrs. Harry relating to travel in Europe with Prince of Orange; letters from Madam E. Drust to Dr. Harry regarding the health of children of Princess Anna Pavlovna; miscellaneous letters written in Russian and French from 1803–1826 addressed to Dr. Harry from his Russian counterparts; and a fair copy of the “Journal of the overland voyage from Petersburg to Peking" in 1805.
